Organic Bliss Gluten Free Bakery and Deli
Kendra's Take: This is one of my favorite places. I walked into the bakery about a week after I went gluten-free. I almost cried when I found out everything in their bakery case was gluten-free. It was a beautiful site. Their gluten-free pies and cakes are fantastic and their California Turkey sandwich is one of my favorites.
What makes them really stand out are their specialty orders. My husband asked if they made red velvet cupcakes (one of my favorite things before my gluten-free days). They went to the bakery where I used to purchase the not gluten-free cupcakes, purchased some, and came up with a gluten free version that was even better than the original. That is customer service! They even started occasionally offering it as one of the cupcakes in their case.
Location: 6600 W. Sylvania, Sylvania, OH 43560
Kendra's Take:Awesome gluten-free pizza that is not your traditional thin crust. Herbs are baked right into the crust. This pizza is pick up and take a bit good. There is no falling apart on this one. It is GREAT! They also offer gluten-free gnocchi and spaghetti, but call ahead to make sure they have them on hand.
Amie’s Pizza Factory
Location: 6710 W. Central Ave. Toledo, OH 43615
Kendra's Take: Awesome gluten-free pizza with white or herb crust. If you are looking for non-traditional pizza, this is the place.
bd's Mongolian Grill
Location: Franklin Park Mall - 5001 Monroe St., Toledo, OH 43623
Kendra's Take: This restaurant allows you to pick all of your own foods and sauces. Then, they grill it up for you. The sauces are all clearly labeled as to whether or not they are gluten-free. They clean the grill and use blockers to prevent cross contamination. However, if you would rather, they will cook it on the sterile grill in the back.
Location: West Central Ave. Toledo, OH 43617
Kendra's Take: If you can live without the Naan (bread) you have a lot of great choices. If you like spicy flavorful food, this Indian deli and market is a great place to go. The food is very fresh, and there are also plenty of vegetarian options.
Location: 7402 West Central Avenue Toledo, OH 43617
Kendra's Take: Their standard barbeque sauces are gluten-free as is all of their meat. Several sides, including smashed potatoes and baked beans are favorites of mine.
Location: 5735 Main St, Sylvania, OH 43560 Website: http://www.element112restaurant.com/
Kendra's Take: This is a place for a special occasion date night. I have been there a few times now and I get the chef's tasting menu. I tell the waitstaff ahead of time about my gluten allergy and all courses are brought out one and a time and are prepared special for you and your allergy (including dairy, shellfish, nuts and others). Everything I ate was amazing and you never feel like you are being gipped because you are gluten free.
Location: 3330 Central Ave, Toledo, OH 43606 Website: http://www.blazepizza.com/
Chelsea's Take: They have a gluten-free crust available for a $2 up-charge, but you get unlimited topping and a variety of sauces. If you place your order online they wait until you check-in to bake your pizza so it is fresh. The GF pizza is put on a mat to keep it from touching where the regular pizza does and they have color coded tongs, spatula and pizza cutter just for the GF pizza.
Location: 1320 Levis Commons Blvd., Perrysburg, OH 43551
Kendra's Take: While this is a chain restaurant, you would not know by the feel of it. This location perfected the chain's gluten free options. Their Italian cuisine gluten-free menu is extensive and you do not feel like you are limited. The gluten free bread is delicious, and I could make an entire meal out of only this.
Location: 5375 Airport Highway, Toledo, OH 43615
Kendra's Take: While their gluten-free menu is somewhat more limited, the items on the menu are worth checking out this restaurant. It is Italian food done right, but my favorite menu item is not a traditional Italian food . . . crab cakes. Delicious.
Blue Pacific Grill
Location: Levis Commons - 4150 Levis Commons Boulevard, Perrysburg, OH 43551
Kendra's Take: This restaurant allows you to pick all of your own foods and sauces. Then they grill it up for you. The sauces are all clearly labeled as to whether or not they are gluten-free. They clean the grill and use blockers to prevent cross contamination.
Location: Fallen Timbers - 2300 Village Dr. West Bldg. #140, Maumee, OH 43537
Kendra's Take: They are so used to serving gluten-free items, that the gluten-free menu is actually located on the back of their regular menu. The gluten free entrées even come on special plates, so you know that you are getting a specially prepared dish. You also get a separate set of gluten free sauces.

Cocina De Carlos
Location: 27072 Carrando Drive, Perrysburg, OH
Kendra's Take: You do not feel limited with this menu. There are many gluten-free options. I am not sure all the staff completely understands what gluten-free means, but the food was good and we had no problems.
Location: 3405 Briarfield Blvd., Maumee, OH 43537
Kendra's Take: An Italian restaurant with a slightly different flair. Chicken Bryan is one of my favorite dishes, and it is a great place to order a gluten-free with dinner.
Location: 106 Lousianna Ave., Perrysburg, OH 43551
Kendra's Take: Great Mediterranean food. They serve most of their dinners on rice pilaf (not gf), but will let you substitute hummus or lettuce for the pilaf. Lots of flavor.
Location: 310 West Dussel Drive, Maumee, OH 43537
Kendra's Take: They guarantee to have at least two gluten free soups every day.
7 Little Cupcakes
Location: 1021 Sandusky Street, Perrysburg, Ohio 43551 Website: http://www.7littlecupcakes.com/default.html
Kendra's Take: Amazing cakes and cupcakes with a huge variety of flavors. This has become my go to place for my kids birthday cakes because they always provide the perfectly decorated cake for the theme and I can get gluten free cupcakes for myself. You can special order a half dozen of any flavor and check their facebook page to see if they have any available in their case for the day.
Location: 34 South Huron Street, Toledo, OH 43604
Kendra's Take: Sandwiches out, served on gluten-free bread. Yes, they do exist, and this is the place. The desserts are pretty great too.

Location: 144 N Superior Street, Toledo, OH 43604
Kendra's Take: Fancy, tasty food. This is a date night restaurant for sure. It is not your typical food, but be ready to have your eyes opened.
Mancy’s Steak House
Location: 953 Phillips Ave., Toledo, OH 43612
Kendra's Take: While there is no gluten-free menu, they can more than accommodate you. The chocolate sac is gluten-free and delicious.
Real Seafood Company
Location: The Docks, 22 Main Street, Toledo, OH 43605
Kendra's Take: Their actual gluten free menu leaves something to be desired because they have a weekly menu. Their gluten-free menu is actually a menu from several months prior, with (gf) marked next to the menu items. However, what their menu lacks, it is more than made up for by their managers and kitchen staff. Simply ask about what you want to order, and the staff will tell you what will work and what will not, and they will make sure that you get a great gluten-free meal.
Location: Multiple Locations
Kendra's Take: My husband and I are such frequent customers of the curbside takeaway that the staff knows our car. The servers seem to be well training on the gluten-free menu.
Location: Multiple Locations
Kendra's Take: One of the few quick food places that is gluten-free friendly. There burrito bowl and hard tacos are gluten-free, as is everything that you can put into them. If you are very sensitive to gluten, ask the crew to change their gloves before they prepare your food.
Buffalo Wild Wings
Location: Multiple Locations
Kendra's Take: All of the rubs, and all but two of the sauces are gluten-free. Your server should be able to help you. They have allergy charts readily available.
Kendra's Take: They now have buns, that make a burger worthwhile. They are not required to have dedicated fryers, so check before order the fries to see if the location does have dedicated fryers. This is a kid friendly restaurant, so a great place to take your child if they have allergies.
The Original Gino’s Pizza
Kendra's Take: They serve a very thin crust gluten-free pizza. It requires a fork otherwise it falls apart in your hands. It is a great, get in any part of town option.
Balance Asian Grill
Kendra's Take: Asian fusion bowls that are made to order and you can watch them being made. They also have tacos part of the year that can be made with corn tortillas, the SoHo tacos are my favorite.
Macs N' Melts
Kendra's Take: Macaroni and Cheese and grilled cheese sandwiches that range from traditional to a variety of different options. They can make any of their Macs with gluten free pasta and any Melts on gluten free bread.
Kendra's Take: A little disappointing. The gluten free menu is very limited and the pasta was both under and overcooked. If you do go there with friends you will have things to eat, but it would not be on the top of my list for options. The bright spot is that you can have their salad without the croutons.
